The Association Haandarbejdets Fremme

The aim of The Association Haandarbejdets Fremme (“Foreningen Haandarbejdets Fremme” in Danish) is to promote artistic needlecraft and to communicate knowledge on needlecraft, its techniques and its cultural history and art history.

The Association Haandarbejdets Fremme is a democratic organization which has members in Denmark as well as abroad. The annual general meeting is held alternately in Copenhagen and outside the capital. Other meetings are also organized in different parts of Denmark.

Anyone who is interested in the work of The Association Haandarbejdets Fremme can obtain a membership by applying to the treasurer of the organization.
